		<description>Fisher are very common in the northern half of Wisconsin where they&#039;ve made a remarkable recovery the past 40-50 years from their initial relocations from the Adirondacks.  The first fisher sighting in my particular neck of the woods was in the early 1980s and by the late 1980s they were quite common and we see several every year now.  Porcupine populations have taken quite a hit as a result...  ;)</description>
