I believe that we have all been taken advantage of by the mainstream media.

They all knew that there were medical mental issues in this case, yet chose not to reveal these facts in their news articles.

Above the fold coverage by the Missoulian while our troops fight wars on 2 fronts was disgusting.

We’ve been lied to.

For a long time cats were not very popular to have around–except for keeping rodent populations to a minimum. They got a bad rap for so long, people associated them with witches, and other things evil. Wolves were (and often still are) treated with the attitude. Most of these attitudes are passed down from one generation to another. Just like political and religious idealogies.

This guy should be taken out behind the shed and beaten senseless. If this man is taken out of this world I certainly wont shed a tear.

Hopefully people will now help out and adopt some of the other animals from the Humane society. I know that if I had room for more animals I would take in as many as possible.

The kitten was euthanized this am. Poor little guy- he had a will to survive only to be euthanized. Wonder if Gary has children?

Terrible event for sure, my first thought is to crush this guy’s skull and be done with it. But what if he is sick, I mean the type of sickness where he has no idea what he is doing or has done, what are the circumstances surrounding this person’s history prior to and following of this insane act. I’m happy the kitten is being repaired and I hope this man gets the help he obviously needs from other humans closer to the locality of the event.. My five cats sitting here wish their cousin well also…

Gary Bassett, may someone kick the shit out of you, then toss you into the poo-vat at the Missoula Waste Control facility. You deserve the same treatment you thoughtlessly gave to a helpless creature, who remarkably, still purred for the people trying to save her life.
Karma will come around, Mr. Bassett, and I hope you are on the receiving end of the worst of it.

I’m glad that you wrote about the kitten Mercy and left e-mail addresses for the mayor and county attorney..I hope everyone that you are involved with will e-mail and we can get justice done…this Gary Bassett should not be roaming Montana..he’s a waste of human flesh for what he did.Thank you for helping to spread the story..the more people that respond,the better the chances that they will nail that jerk…PUBLIC OUTCRY!
