Bull trout critical habitat would rise from 3,780 to 22,679 stream miles and 110,364 to 533,426 acres of lakes in Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon and Washington.

The new designation proposal, which will be the subject of public meetings next month across the region, follows complaints that former Deputy Assistant Interior Secretary Julie MacDonald, a Bush-era appointee who oversaw the endangered species program, interfered with at least 13 decisions about endangered species listings and critical habitat designations, including that for the bull trout.
What will this do ? Nothing.
When the Salmon runs leave the Pacific Oregon and Washington kills most of them, the Indians kill more of them, and finally 10 thousand fish make it to Idaho, when before those damns were built it was ten million fish, they ran into all of our streams, the Bear Valley Creek, Elk Creek, the Payette, the Boise, the Salmon River, and what did all those fish do, spawned and died, and that created and fed flies and other bugs ans what live don those, Bull Trout..
Idaho/Oregon/Washington have fought over those runs division ever since the damns, And the Indians can kill those fish any way they want to, nets, spears, guns, huge treble hooks, etc. etc.
And Idaho biologists years back came up with and answer for the needed nutrition in those streams lacking in that ancient die off, and organic mash type pellet to support the Bull trout, while the states monkey around with the Salmon runs..
