Updates

Tuesday, September 8th, 2009

Due to work issues, updates have been trickling in the past week. Also, next week I will be leaving for the western wilderness and should be back in October. Until then, I would not expect much in the way of updates as I prefer to disconnect from the computer world and travel without a laptop or any device except for a simple cell phone. Thanks for reading and see you soon.

NYT: Hunting wolves and men

Thursday, September 3rd, 2009

Timothy Eagan points out the sad news that much of the hunting for these wolves is really being replaced with some sad, obsessive lust to wipe out the species completely. Generally, people unhappy with their position in life have found a symbol to vent on, and it is the wolf. It’s been going on for quite some time by groups of people in the rocky mountain west where the wolf still roams.
