You guys may remember the case of the psycopaths herding, killing and then torturing deer in Wisconsin. We talked about this before at this link and at this link.
It turns out an either drunken or insane judge has dismissed felony animal cruelty charges against Robby Kuenzi because Wisconsin law indicates that those hunting deer during season cannot be charged with animal cruelty.
You heard that right. Here’s a quote from the officer on the scene:
One, after it was on the ground, looked like snowmobilers parked on top of it and just gunned the snowmobile and tore the stomach right open of the deer,” Yorkson said. Another deer was dragged to a tree while alive an eventually choked itself to death.
This ruling may not affect the other two defendants because they are going up with other judges.
Insanity, and a real black eye on this county, straight form the heart of the Wisconsin judicial system.
Give the Waupaca Chamber of Commerce a call and voice your displeasure on this incredibly ridiculous ruling:

I grew up in Northern Michigan and participated in the usual hunting, fishing, snowmobiling activities. There are laws against operating snowmobiles under the influence of alcohol or in a reckless manner. In my opinion these SOB people (they don’t deserve to be called hunters) were breaking both of those laws. If I was in the woods trying to hunt and these guys were scaring away the deer, I would have made my presence known. Perhaps the judge was a distant cousin.
Yeah Jim you really have to question the judge on this one. Scary stuff.
