Montana: Delegation wise to avoid current Beaverhead-Deerlodge national forest plan

I’m all over the place on this. To have new wilderness in a place like Montana is a great idea – enough to make one overlook any negative aspects of what it took to get the deal. Bill Schneider seems to keep a cooler head about it and breaks it down. The clear deal killer on this is the “sacrifice” of 200,000 roadless acres. That’s something that is gone forever if we give it up.
