Trash hunters would rather use lethal force than bearspray (video)

WARNING: Do not watch this video if you do not want to see a mother grizzly killed when the hunter has plenty of time to use bear spray. What these hunters did is completely unethical. They should have been carrying bear spray. They had plenty of time to use this method. What they did instead was kill a mother grizzly, causing the cub to be abandoned.

This is the absolute worst of hillbilly America. Shame on Cabela’s for even supporting this type of behaviour.

These good ole’ boys did several things wrong:

1. Shot a bear in the vicinity of a mother and cub, causing the mother to charge
2. failed to fire a warning shot as the mother charged
3. failed to have bear spray on hand which they had plenty of time to use

  • Albert Einstein says:

You have to be totally retarded to think they did anything wrong.

  • Jesus H Christ says:

Umm, yeah….. Actually you are incorrect, you only need to be mildly retarded to think they did anything wrong.

I think that in order to get hard data on this subject, we need to do daily tests, using anti’s and angry sows to test the bear spray theory. I am sure some of you pussies would be happy to give your life to research the saving of a bear cub. Right?

  • Mike says:

Actually, bear spray is in fact the recommended bear deterrent.

Check out the studies at this link:

  • Give Me A Break says:

Get a life people. Put yourself in that situation and I doubt anyone would opt to go for their bear spray (if they even had some) over their firearm. Anyone else would of dropped a load in their pants, curled up into a ball and been that mama’s next supper.

  • Jake says:

Um I think my 44 Mag is is the recommended Bear deterrent!!

Life is tough, But its toughter when you are stupid!!

  • Mike says:

Actually, according to all major studies, bear spray gives you much better odds for avoiding injury from an attacking grizzly. See for yourself at this link:

The reason these hunters were unethical is because they failed to pack the recommended deterrent.

Spent some time in Alaskan wilderness a few years ago… When I showed my can of bear spray to the people I was visiting they couldn’t stop laughing. Told me to get rid of the stupid can. This was from people very experienced around grizzly bears.

  • Mike says:

All research points to bear spray being the most effective deterrent. See this study:
