This is an idiotic idea, IMHO. People are not always on their best behaviour in National Parks, and having armed goofs would be a complete mistake. In popular parks, we would see pot shots being taken at the more road/people friendly wildlife.
A spokesperson for Baucus says Max thinks it’s a matter of second amendment rights, and that law abiding citizens should be able to carry a firearm on public lands.
