Gore, Garth Brooks, American Indians secure last minute show at D.C. Mall

Great news. There were some Republican goons in congress that had tried to stop this certain section of the Live Earth shows.

Why is it so hard for these emotional reactionary goons to do the right thing? What is wrong with the truth? Let freedom ring.

“Some who don’t understand what is now at stake tried to stop this event on the Mall,” the former Democratic presidential candidate said in a thinly veiled hit on members of President George W. Bush’s Republican party.

“But here we are,” he said as an image of a bright Earth shined behind him. “And it wasn’t the cavalry who came to our rescue, it was the American Indian.”

Skolskie fled when officers attempted to stop his vehicle, officers said. One officer chased Skolskie to a nearby pipeline, where he again fled. The pursuit of Skolskie continued to Forbes Road 584 as he went around a gate and fled back to the roadway.

The objections of two leading national environmental groups have forced the National Forest Service to reconsider its approval of logging in so-called “roadless areas” of the forest, frustrating local logging companies that thought they had a deal.

This article also contains a glaring factual error. It claims that “half the White Mountain National Forest is wilderness”. That couldn’t be further from the truth.

Oregon: Two arrested for shooting roman candles while driving in Willamete National Forest

Deputies say the two had been swimming at 3 Pools Recreation Site in the Willamette National Forest and were driving south bound on Little North Fork Rd.

The juvenile passenger began shooting Roman Candles out the vehicle window which caused a brush fire along the roadway near Salmon Falls County Park

Officials on the Lewis and Clark National Forest decided to observe the wilderness fire but won’t actively intervene at this point, said Mike Munoz, district ranger for the Forest Service’s Rocky Mountain District in Choteau.
