Outfitters among those supporting Roadless Rule

“Frankenstein” was Wyoming U.S. District Court Judge Clarence A. Brimmer’s metaphor for the Clinton Administration’s 2001 Roadless Rule, which today protects 4.1 million acres of untamed territory in Colorado and 58.5 million acres on national forests nationwide.

Brimmer last Friday heard the state of Wyoming’s argument for issuing an injunction against the rule, which he previously declared illegal. Brimmer is expected to decide the case by the end of next week.
