Using houndsmen to help radio collar the lions, deer hunters to report lion encounters and DNA samples to identify individual lions, researchers may soon be able to determine how hunting affects lion populations and to accurately predict the number of lions in a specific area.

Wyoming: Forest Service dismisses tram worries
Saturday, January 27th, 2007JACKSON (AP) — In approving Jackson Hole Mountain Resort’s new tram, Bridger-Teton National Forest officials dismissed concerns that the tram could hurt bighorn sheep habitat in Grand Teton National Park.
The new tram, slated for completion in late 2008, will carry a maximum of 100 passengers, or 650 passengers per hour, nearly double the capacity of the iconic red tram it is replacing.
