Wyoming: Forest Service dismisses tram worries
JACKSON (AP) — In approving Jackson Hole Mountain Resort’s new tram, Bridger-Teton National Forest officials dismissed concerns that the tram could hurt bighorn sheep habitat in Grand Teton National Park.
The new tram, slated for completion in late 2008, will carry a maximum of 100 passengers, or 650 passengers per hour, nearly double the capacity of the iconic red tram it is replacing.

From a ridge in the Little Belt Mountains, Great Falls hikers Jason Wilkes and Ben Konesky came across two elk that seemed unusually close together.
The two friends went down about 100 yards for a closer look, and found the two bulls’ antlers entangled together with bailing twine.
