Forest Service, BLM to lift fire restrictions in New Mexico
ALBUQUERQUE (AP) - Forest officials and land managers around New Mexico have decided to lift fire restrictions.
The decisions to lift restrictions were prompted by recent rain and the prospect of more rain as the state enters the monsoon season.
Santa Fe National Forest lifted its restrictions Thursday, and the Carson, Cibola, Gila and Lincoln forests planned to ease their restrictions Friday.
